Slaide features and limits at a glance

8 min readLast checked:

In short

Slaide turns a written request into editable presentations, reports, one-pagers, posters and Excel models in your browser and exports PowerPoint, Word, PDF, PNG, JPG and Excel files. It has no video, no direct Google Slides export, no comments and no team workspaces, and charts arrive as shapes or images, not as chart objects. The Free plan builds 3 pages of one document, Plus allows up to 12 pages per document, and Pro and Max have no plan limit on pages.

What can Slaide create?

You describe the document and Slaide chooses the page format that fits. The kind of document sets the page format, and the page format sets the Office file you download.

Where does Slaide run?

  • In your browser. Slaide needs no installation. Use a current version of a major browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. See How Slaide works.
  • On a phone or tablet, in the browser. You can request changes and export files; detailed layout work is a job for the desktop editor. There is no separate app to install. See Use Slaide on your phone.
  • In Chrome. The optional side-panel extension turns a web page, or up to 8 collected pages or highlighted passages, into slides. It needs Google Chrome 116 or newer. See Slaide for Chrome.
  • In AI assistants. ChatGPT, Claude and Grok can use Slaide through a custom connector, in your own Slaide account and plan. See Use Slaide in ChatGPT, Claude or Grok.
  • In PowerPoint. The add-in is not available yet: as of 11 October 2026 it is not in Microsoft Marketplace, and Slaide's settings list it as Coming soon. See The Slaide add-in for PowerPoint.
