> Slaide has four plans. Free gives you one document with 3 built pages. Plus costs €7.99 a month (€5.99 a month if billed yearly) and includes 800 credits a month and up to 12 pages per document. Pro (€17.99) and Max (€59.99) have no plan limit on pages and include 1,800 and 7,000 credits a month. Only Free exports carry the Slaide mark.

> **Note:** All prices are final prices in euro. No VAT is shown, in line with § 19 UStG (small business regulation). The German terms are the legally binding text, and the [English terms](https://www.slaide.de/terms) are a convenience translation.

## What else changes from plan to plan?

Besides the price, plans differ in pages, credits, the Slaide mark and imports.

- **Pages per document.** Free builds the first 3 pages and plans up to 12; the rest stays visible as a plan. Plus builds up to 12 pages. Pro and Max have no plan limit.
- **Credits.** Plus includes 800 a month, Pro 1,800 and Max 7,000. Free has no monthly credits. [How credits work](https://help.slaide.de/how-credits-work) explains the rest.
- **Slaide mark.** Free exports carry a small “Made with Slaide”. Plus, Pro and Max export without it.
- **Imports.** A file imported on Free brings in its first 3 pages, on Plus up to 12. Pro and Max have no plan limit, only a technical cap of 150 pages.

Plus, Pro and Max use the standard model on every run. The plans differ in volume, not in the model.

## How do I upgrade or change my plan?

You upgrade in Settings under **Plan**. The **Upgrade** card lists the plans above your current one, with a switch between monthly and yearly billing.

![Slaide settings, Plan area: the Plan entry in the Credits and plan group on the left, and on the right the card Your plan with the Manage subscription button and the Cancel subscription link below it.](https://help.slaide.de/images/help/settings-plan-en.webp)

1. **Open the Plan settings**. Click your avatar at the top right, then choose **Plan** in the group **Credits & plan**. [Open Settings](https://app.slaide.de/einstellungen?tab=plan) takes you straight there.
2. **Choose a plan and a billing interval**. In the **Upgrade** card pick **Monthly** or **Yearly**, then click Plus, Pro or Max.
3. **Confirm and pay**. On Free, Stripe's secure checkout opens. If you already pay for a plan, Slaide first asks **Switch to Pro now?**: the switch applies immediately, unused time on your current plan is credited pro rata, and billing at the new price starts now.
   - Tip: Discount codes for a subscription are entered on Stripe's checkout page. A code for credits goes into **Redeem a code** on the same Plan page.

To go to a cheaper plan, or to change the billing interval of the plan you have, use **Manage subscription** on the same page. It opens Stripe's customer portal, which lists the changes it offers. If a change you need is missing there, write to info@slaide.de.

> **Note:** When you move up during a month, you receive the difference to the credits you already got this month. Your next reset stays on its date.

## What does yearly billing mean?

Yearly billing charges twelve months at once at a lower monthly price: €71.88 a year for Plus, €179.88 for Pro and €551.88 for Max. Credits still arrive every month, in the same amount as on monthly billing.

> **Note:** Subscriptions renew automatically for another period of the same length until you cancel. [Cancel your subscription](https://help.slaide.de/cancel-your-subscription) shows how and when it ends.

## Can I pay for just one document?

Yes, if you are a school or university student: for €0.99 you can finish one document. Accounts that picked **School & University** and then **Student (school)** or **Student (university)** when Slaide asked what they will use it for can plan for free, but building needs a plan or this one-time purchase. A window then offers both: a plan, or **Just this document · €0.99 once**.

- You pay once through Stripe. There is no subscription.
- The document builds up to 12 pages, and its exports carry no Slaide mark.
- Planning and building are covered. Later AI changes to that document come with a plan.
- The offer appears only for a document you have not unlocked yet, and only while your account has no credits and no active pay-as-you-go.

> **Note:** Teachers and accounts with any other answer get the normal free document instead. The one-time purchase is not available to them.

## What happens to credits I do not use?

Plan credits do not roll over: at every monthly reset they are set back to the monthly amount, so unused plan credits expire. Credits from invitations and welcome bonuses never expire, the monthly reset leaves credits from redeemed codes alone, and Slaide uses them after your plan credits.

Running low before the reset? [Not enough credits](https://help.slaide.de/not-enough-credits) lists your options, including [pay-as-you-go](https://help.slaide.de/pay-as-you-go-billing) with a monthly limit you set yourself.

## Frequently asked questions

### How much does Slaide cost?

Plus costs €7.99 a month, Pro €17.99 and Max €59.99. Billed yearly, the monthly price drops to €5.99, €14.99 and €45.99, charged once for twelve months. Free costs nothing.

### What does the free plan include?

One document, without a credit card. Slaide plans it with up to 12 pages and builds the first 3; the rest of the plan stays visible. Planning, building and later changes to that document do not use credits. A second document needs credits from invitations or codes, or a paid plan. The full list of what Slaide can and cannot do is in [Slaide features and limits at a glance](https://help.slaide.de/slaide-features-and-limits).

### Can I change my plan or switch to yearly billing?

Yes. On the Plan page in Settings, the Upgrade card moves you to a higher plan with monthly or yearly billing. The switch applies immediately, and unused time on your current plan is credited pro rata. For a cheaper plan or another interval, use Manage subscription, which opens Stripe's customer portal.

### Do the prices include VAT?

All prices are final prices in euro. In line with § 19 UStG (small business regulation), Slaide shows no VAT. Your bank may charge a fee if you pay in another currency.

### Is there a plan for teams?

Teams of three or more people can request a team plan with shared credits and one invoice on the [pricing page](https://www.slaide.de/pricing). Until then, each person has their own account and plan. See [Use Slaide with your team](https://help.slaide.de/slaide-for-teams).

### Do unused credits carry over to the next month?

Plan credits do not: they are set back to the monthly amount at each reset. Credits from invitations and welcome bonuses never expire, and the monthly reset leaves credits from redeemed codes alone.

### Can I buy a single document instead of a plan?

Only students. Accounts that told Slaide they are a school or university student see a one-time option of €0.99 for one document of up to 12 pages. It is not offered to other accounts.
